Visiting This Summer? Here’s What You Need to Know

To ensure Vizcaya Museum and Gardens remains beautiful, safe and accessible for another 100 years, we’re actively restoring and reinforcing key areas of the estate this summer.

While most of the estate remains open, visitors may notice some temporary closures or construction activity in specific areas. We appreciate your understanding and invite you to explore how we’re investing in Vizcaya’s future.

WHAT’S OPEN | The majority of the museum remains open for visitors to enjoy. This includes:

  • The Formal Gardens and Waterfront
  • Most Decorated Spaces in the Main House
  • Audio tours and self-guided experiences
  • Vizcaya Café and Shop as well as the Village Café

From historic gardens to storm-proofing the Main House, here’s a look at what’s happening at the museum currently.
