Baynanza 2023

Baynanza celebrates Biscayne Bay and its significance throughout March and April. On April 15, 2023, thousands of volunteers will gather together to clean the shoreline at over 30 locations. Since Baynanza’s start in 1982, volunteers have collected over one million pounds of trash from Biscayne Bay’s shoreline.

To commemorate this event, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens and Miami-Dade County’s Division of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) will be hosting an art contest for M-DCPS elementary, middle, and high school students. Winning students will have the opportunity to have their work featured in the promotional materials of Baynanza 2023.
