Members of the James Deering Society—named after Vizcaya’s visionary creator—are part of a special group of loyal supporters who help to ensure that Vizcaya will be an inclusive, innovative and inspiring place for generations to come. The James Deering Giving Society (JDS) donors make an annual commitment to advance the museum’s mission and programs. They believe in the value of Vizcaya as an artistic, historic and environmental oasis in our community and a national treasure.
These unrestricted donations are critical to ensuring Vizcaya’s future. Donor support immediately helps to offset daily maintenance and preservation work as well as ongoing activities, which engage our community.
As valued friends of Vizcaya, James Deering Society Donors receive free daily admission to Vizcaya, free or reduced admission to special programs, discounts in our reopened Café & Shop, a discount at the Vizcaya Village Farmers Market, access to special luncheons, a private tour with the director, and more.
