World Red Eye Captures Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony of New Vizcaya Village Café

Miami, FL – November 10, 2024 – Vizcaya Museum and Gardens celebrated the grand opening of the Vizcaya Village Café with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. Operated by A Joy Catering and located in the historic Superintendent’s House, the café offers an inviting atmosphere with a dining room showcasing exposed wooden beams and a tranquil outdoor patio amid Vizcaya’s edible garden. Attendees enjoyed engaging, hands-on activities on urban agriculture, including composting tutorials, seed giveaways, and a “Plant & Grow” session. This launch marked a milestone in Vizcaya’s efforts to restore the Village, reconnecting the community to its rich agricultural roots and historic spaces.
