In 2018, following the devastation of Hurricane Irma and deeply personal milestones, Axel joined Vizcaya as their Orchid Specialist—where he now cares for over 2,000 orchids across the orchidarium and greenhouses. You can learn more about his background in this in-depth profile in Southern Living Magazine.
With his infectious passion and deep-rooted knowledge, he guides viewers through each video with warmth and clarity, making even advanced orchid care feel accessible.
