Vizcaya opens sections of Main House

Vizcaya's Main House from the Garden Mound

UPDATED FRIDAY, JUNE 5, 2020

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens has opened sections of the Main House for its visitors. Spaces on the first floor can now be explored. Guests must maintain a 6′ distance from others and wear a mask while inside the Main House.

The opening of the Main House adds to the visitor experience. On May 10, Vizcaya opened its beautiful bayfront gardens. With 10 acres of outdoor gardens along with limiting the number of people in the Main House at any one time, Vizcaya offers the community ample space to maintain social distance with a low-density experience.

To provide a touchless admission process, all visitors must purchase tickets online at www.vizcaya.org and bring proof of purchase with them. Temporary special pricing is in effect to encourage the community to come out and enjoy Vizcaya.

Vizcaya’s operating days have temporarily changed. Vizcaya is open Thursdays through Mondays, with admissions from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Visitors should bring water in a reusable bottle as the Café & Shop remains closed, and an umbrella for inclement weather. Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is located at 3251 South Miami Avenue, Miami, FL 33129.
