The existential threat of Climate Change is a very real one here in Miami & South Florida. Sea level rise threatens our communities and our costal ecosystems. On September 26th at 2:30 PM EST, Beyond Vizcaya will host a live, interactive discussion on how we can preserve our vital costal ecosystems in the face of climate change.
Join us in conversation with Shannon Jones, Curator of Ecology and Environmental Restoration at Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, Lauren Reilly, coordinator for MUVE, Museum Volunteers for the Environment at the Frost Museum, and Michael S. Studivan, PhD, assistant scientist with the Cooperative Institute for Marine & Atmospheric Studies (CIMAS), a joint program between the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School and NOAA’s Atlantic Oceanographic & Meteorological Lab.
