Each year, guests from South Florida’s philanthropic society attend the fashion-forward Preservation Luncheon, also known as the Hat Luncheon, as attendees are encouraged to wear stylish hats. Proceeds of the luncheon support Vizcaya’s preservation efforts and education and community programs.

The 2026 Preservation Luncheon

Laurie Jennings is a 6-time Emmy Award-winning TV news reporter and trusted anchor in South Florida. For over two decades, she led the evening news for WSVN-Ch. 7 and then WPLG-Ch. 10. She has now launched her own media company, Laurie Jennings Live, as she continues as a TV host, spokesperson and a staple in Miami’s charity scene. Laurie was our very first emcee for the Vizcaya Preservation Luncheon and has joined us on stage numerous times since.

It is our honor to welcome her back to take the mic at the Preservation Luncheon this March.
