Select Fridays starting in May to Offer Evening Hours, DJ Sets, Live Art, and Stunning Views — All Included with General Admission
MIAMI – May 14, 2026 — Vizcaya Museum and Gardens announces Vizcaya Summer Fridays, a new series of extended evening hours on select Fridays from May 29 through September 2026. Included with standard daytime general admission ($20 for adults), visitors can explore the historic bayfront campus beyond the usual 4:30 p.m. closing time. On each Summer Friday, the Main House stays open until 7:30 p.m. and the gardens until 8:00 p.m.
Each evening features DJ sets for a laid-back, social vibe as the sun sets and the lights of nearby Downtown Miami begin to pepper the horizon behind the iconic Stone Barge on Biscayne Bay. In the gardens, a live artist demonstration invites visitors to connect with the creative process and discover local talent. To round out the evening, light bites and libations are available for purchase on-site from a rotation of local vendors.
There’s no schedule to follow. Just explore at your own pace with ongoing activities that change for each date, so no two evenings are ever the same.
“From its origins as the winter home of James Deering, Vizcaya has evolved as a vibrant home for all of Miami,” says María Carla Chicuén, Associate Executive Director/Chief Strategy & Collaboration Officer. “We are excited to launch Vizcaya Summer Fridays as yet another opportunity to welcome the community to our cultural campus in the heart of Miami. Through this new series, Friday evenings at Vizcaya will be the place to bring a date, meet a friend after work or simply enjoy our natural landscape, all while immersing in our history and culture, and connecting with each other in meaningful ways.”
The Vizcaya Summer Fridays series takes place on the following dates:
- Friday, May 29
- Friday, June 26
- Friday, July 10
- Friday, August 7
- Friday, September 18
General admission is $20 for adults, $10 for children up to age 13, and FREE for children ages 5 and under. For details and to reserve tickets, visit vizcaya.org/summerfridays.
