MIAMI – On Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, at 7 p.m., the Vizcaya Ball returns for its 68th edition, paying homage to the estate’s deep connection to the sea with the theme “Voyage to Vizcaya: A Caravel Dream.” Chaired by Christina and David Martin and Nancy McCormick and Ray Rasco, the highly anticipated black-tie affair raises funds for the continued preservation of Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.
This year’s theme invites guests to step into that maritime dreamscape, a night as timeless and captivating as the sea itself. From James Deering’s arrival at Vizcaya in 1916 aboard his yacht Nepenthe, to the graceful seashell motifs, caravel emblems, and coral elements woven throughout its architecture, Vizcaya has always been a love letter to the sea.
Today, the museum continues this legacy through community programs that honor South Florida’s coastal heritage, celebrate its natural resources, and deepen our connection to nature.
Following a red-carpet entrance, guests will enjoy a cocktail reception in the historic Main House, surrounded by maritime-inspired décor and elegant nods to Vizcaya’s seafaring spirit. Vizcaya’s Cascade will welcome more than 350 of Miami’s most notable philanthropists and society leaders to mingle and preview a curated selection of auction items.
A sumptuous, seated dinner prepared by Thierry Isambert Culinary and Event Design will be served on the estate’s waterfront terrace, offering sweeping views of Biscayne Bay and the iconic Stone Barge. The night will continue with dancing under the stars to the tunes of Valerie Tyson Trio and LID Music Entertainment as well as an unforgettable performance by New Century Dance Company.
This year’s Ball Committee includes Beatriz Bolton, Suzy Buckley Woodward, Elizabeth Costa de Rusch, Swanee DiMare, Natalie Estrella, Roxana Garciga, Sonia Gibson, John Grisham, Camila Guiribitey, Marile Lopez, Linda Lynn Levy, Christina Martin, Sheila Martinez, Nancy McCormick, Bronwyn Miller, Ken O’Keefe, Cammy Richards, Yvonne Rosemeir, Lydia Touzet and Josie Wang.
The Premier Sponsors for the 2025 Vizcaya Ball are Citadel & Citadel Securities, Ken O’Keefe and Jason Stephens, Kenneth C. Griffin, Lynn Atkinson and David Drucker, and the Beverage Sponsor is Republic National Distributing Company.

ABOUT VIZCAYA MUSEUM AND GARDENS
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is a National Historic Landmark that preserves its cultural and environmental resources to engage people in connecting with the past, understanding the present, and shaping the future. Built between 1914 and 1922 as the winter home of agricultural industrialist James Deering, Vizcaya is one of the most intact remaining examples from this era in the United States, when the nation’s most successful entrepreneurs built estates inspired by the stately homes of Europe. Vizcaya features a Main House filled with a decorative art collection, 10 acres of formal gardens, a rockland hammock (native forest), and mangrove shore. The estate also includes the historic Vizcaya Village, which is being restored to tell Vizcaya’s full story and provides additional spaces for programs and community outreach, including urban farming initiatives.
Since opening to the public in 1953, Vizcaya has welcomed generations of visitors and currently hosts more than 300,000 guests annually.
