MIAMI – October 1, 2025 – Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is partnering with The Sow Project to launch Brunch with Purpose, a three-part Sunday series that blends culinary delight with community impact. Hosted in Vizcaya Village’s historic Garage during the popular Vizcaya Village Farmers Market, the series runs October 26, November 30, and December 28, 2025, offering guests a one-of-a-kind dining experience.

Each brunch features seasonal menus crafted by acclaimed chefs Ben Vaughn and Dave Krog, spotlighting fresh ingredients, Southern flavors, and thoughtful storytelling through food. Guests will enjoy intimate seatings limited to 50 people, ensuring a personal and immersive experience.

“The Village was once Vizcaya’s agricultural hub, allowing the Vizcaya estate to be self-sustaining,” explains Sheila Gutierrez, Vizcaya’s Agriculture and Farmers Market Manager. “We continue that legacy today with programs like this brunch series, which bring to life important topics around urban agriculture and sustainability.”

But this is more than just a meal. Proceeds from the series support The Sow Project, a culinary workforce development initiative founded by Vaughn that provides free training, wraparound services, and career pathways for underemployed and unemployed individuals across the South.

“Food has the power to change lives and communities,” said Chef Ben Vaughn. “With The Sow Project, we’re not only serving a great brunch—we’re cultivating opportunity and creating second chances.”

“Hosting this series at Vizcaya, a place that celebrates culture and community, feels like the perfect match,” added Chef Dave Krog.
