MIAMI – January 27, 2025 – Mark your calendars! The 17th Annual Vizcaya Preservation Luncheon is set to take place on March 4, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Co-chaired by Eilah Campbell Beavers, Swanee DiMare, and Christy Martin, this cherished event unites Miami’s philanthropic community to celebrate history, fashion, and preservation.
Dubbed “the hat luncheon” for its stunning display of colorful hats, the event features fashionable hats ranging from elegantly classic to daringly avant-garde. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Vizcaya’s historic architecture and lush gardens, the luncheon creates a whimsical atmosphere while raising critical funds for the preservation of this National Historic Landmark.
“This vibrant celebration of spring mirrors the season’s spirit of rejuvenation, symbolizing our ongoing dedication to preserving Vizcaya’s beauty and history for future generations,” shared Cammy Richards, Vizcaya’s Director of Special Events.
The day will begin with a cocktail reception in the Main House Courtyard, where guests can mingle amidst the beauty of the indoor garden while showcasing their ornate hats and stylish ensembles. The celebration continues on the estate’s waterfront East Terrace, featuring spring-inspired decor and a sumptuous luncheon catered by Thierry Isambert Culinary and Event Design.
This year’s luncheon will once again feature Emmy-awarded anchor Laurie Jennings as Emcee, alongside Vizcaya Executive Director Joel Hoffman. Guests can look forward to an exciting program, including the annual hat contest, a raffle of exclusive items, live modeling, and engaging entertainment.
