HOURS OF OPERATION

Vizcaya is open to the public Wednesday through Monday beginning at 9:30 a.m.; last admission is at 4:30 p.m. 

The Main House is open until 5:00 p.m. and the gardens until 5:30 p.m. Vizcaya is closed on Tuesdays.

GOLDEN TICKETS ARE ACCEPTED ON MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens along with the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs offers free tickets to the arts for seniors of Miami-Dade County. Residents of Miami-Dade County who are age 62 and over can visit the website or call 305-499-8755 for more information about the program. Golden Tickets are only accepted at Vizcaya on Mondays and Wednesdays along with a valid ID.

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is a proud partner of the Culture Shock Miami program, an audience development program of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs that is designed to introduce the next generation of audience members to art and cultural experiences. With the purchase of one $5 ticket for a 13-22 year old, a second $5 ticket can be purchased for someone of any age to accompany them.

To participate, visit the Culture Shock Miami website, purchase tickets online and present the ticket along with proof of age ID and email confirmation at the Vizcaya Admissions Booth.

Vizcaya participates annually in the National Endowment for the Arts Blue Star Museum program which offers complimentary general admission to our United States active military and up to 5 family member from Armed Forces Day through Labor Day. Tickets must be purchased on-site at Admissions. Valid DD Form 1173 ID Card, or DD Form 1173-1 ID Card must be shown for verification. Refunds are not available after date of visit.

United States Military Veterans and Active Duty US Military Personnel may receive complimentary admission for the individual service member. Valid DD Form 1173 ID Card, or DD Form 1173-1 ID Card must be shown at Admissions for verification. Not available online.

Vizcaya is proud to participate in the Miami-Dade County Public Library’s Museum Pass Program, which offers South Florida locals free admission for up to four people.

To reserve your Museum Pass for Vizcaya and many other local museums, please click below for instructions. The pass must be reserved directly through your local library and you must present the pass at admissions in order to gain entry. This discount does not work with online tickets.

The Museum Pass is only accepted June through September and is applicable only to daytime admission. Special events do not qualify and blackout dates apply.

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is proud to partner with Museums for All, a national program initiated by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) that helps people receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) gain free admission to museums around the United States by presenting a SNAP or WIC EBT card with valid photo ID at the admissions booth upon arrival.

Each cardholder will receive admission for themselves and up to 3 other individuals. This offer is not availble for online tickets or special programs and events. For more information about this program, please visit www.museums4all.org.
