UPDATED TUESDAY, APRIL 28, 2020
Miami-Dade County has announced that parks throughout the County are beginning to reopen.
We are pleased that the County has given permission to Vizcaya to reopen our beautiful waterfront gardens as part of the order.
With this information, Vizcaya has now begun to make plans to reopen the estate to the public safely and responsibly.
Once we have all protocols in place, Vizcaya will publicly announce the date it expects to reopen the gardens.
When Vizcaya reopens the gardens for public enjoyment, we will comply with County Guidelines and at a minimum:
- Require all visitors and staff to wear facial coverings (except as exempted by the CDC).
- Structure visitor experience to ensure social distancing (except as may be permitted among family groups up to 10 people).
- Establish strict protocols for cleaning public restrooms.
We look forward to opening Vizcaya as soon as possible, but in the meantime, we encourage you to continue experiencing Vizcaya through our robust menu of online virtual experiences.
