UPDATED MONDAY, MAY 18, 2020

Vizcaya is pleased to offer extended hours on Friday, May 22 to launch Memorial Day Weekend. On Friday the gardens will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with last admissions to the estate at 7:30 p.m.

Vizcaya’s 10 acres of outdoor gardens offer the community ample space to maintain social distance with a low-density experience. With area beaches still closed, Vizcaya’s gardens are a beautiful, water-front alternative.

Health and safety at Vizcaya

With safety at the forefront of operations, all guests and staff must wear face coverings and maintain a social distance of 6 feet from other visitors and staff. Family groups of less than 10 as described in Emergency Order 21-20 are allowed but must observe face covering and social distance regulations. Restrooms are thoroughly cleaned as well as regular cleaning of frequent-touch surfaces. Garden paths that are narrow are now marked as one-way for foot traffic.

Online ticketing

To provide a touch-less admission process, all visitors must purchase tickets online at www.vizcaya.org and bring proof of purchase with them. Tickets purchased for Friday, May 22 can be used for admission until 7:30 p.m. The gardens remain open until 8:00 p.m.

Temporary special pricing is in effect to encourage the community to come out and enjoy Vizcaya’s Italian-style gardens with a Miami flair, the breezes from Biscayne Bay and the lovely Miami weather.

Vizcaya’s temporary operating days

Vizcaya’s operating days have temporarily changed. Vizcaya is open Thursdays through Mondays, with admissions from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Visitors should bring water in a reusable bottle as the Café & Shop remains closed, and an umbrella should there be inclement weather as all indoor spaces including the Main House remain closed. Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is located at 3251 South Miami Avenue, Miami, FL 33129.
