Educator programs at Vizcaya

Two adults with a Vizcaya Learning Program Facilitator in the Center Island building a structure with small wooden building pieces.

Designed to meet educator and student needs

Teacher workshops at Vizcaya are designed to fulfill requirements of the Florida state educational standards, and enhance the learning experience for students.

New workshops to be announced

Twice per year, Vizcaya opens its doors to educators, principals and administrators from public and private schools in Miami-Dade County (along with up to 3 family members!) for free guided tours and hands-on activities. Light refreshments will be provided. Registration is limited

The Educator Appreciation Days are a perfect opportunity to explore learning experiences for your students and to learn about community programs for adults, families and visitors of all ages that take place throughout the year at Vizcaya. Community programs activate the estate through participatory, immersive experiences that inspire participants to connect with the past, understand the present and shape the future.

Students prepare for hand-on learning with a Learning Program Facilitator. Class and chaperone sitting on the steps of the South Terrace.
