ACTIVITIES

Go on a search for wildlife in the gardens with University of Miami expert on reptiles and amphibians, Chris Searcy.
Tours with Chris and his team are at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Meet animal ambassadors, Mowgli and Basil, of Miami’s premier native wildlife hospital. You’ll learn about native wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and release.

Discover the three species of sea turtles we see on our beaches, what they eat, and how we can help protect them! Participate in our sea turtle hatchling board game and get the chance to win tickets to a sea turtle hatchling release event!

Learn about our dynamic coral community and how it’s being re-planted with hands-on activities.

Join a zookeeper for a meet-and-greet with some reptilian friends.

Spin the wheel and answer a question about our community’s endangered lands to win fun prizes.

Where art meets science! A Vizcaya educator will guide young hands to make their own wildlife inspired shadow puppet. When the sun goes down, the stage lights turn on and everyone’s invited to live their wild life on stage.
