Sugar Skulls Workshop for Families

Join us for a FREE and vibrant celebration of tradition and creativity as we dive into the world of sugar skulls, or “calaveritas de azucar,” in preparation for Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Our esteemed partners from Ameyal Mexican Cultural Academy will guide you through the fascinating history and cultural significance of these intricate, handcrafted pieces.
To promote inclusion for all, Vizcaya ensures that all community programs, after-hour and weekend events for locals, feature activities that are physically accessible to all visitors. While not all areas of the estate are wheelchair accessible, community programs are purposefully located in areas without stairs or that can be accessed via a ramp.
