Step into a world of tranquility and artistry as Tibetan monks bring an ancient tradition to life at Vizcaya. From December 15 to 18, watch the mesmerizing creation of a traditional sand mandala — a breathtaking display of precision, spirituality, and beauty.

️ Witness the Creation:

Over four days, monks will painstakingly craft an intricate mandala dedicated to Green Tara, the female Buddha representing compassion and wisdom.
See millions of grains of colored sand meticulously shaped into an elaborate geometric design in Vizcaya’s Main House Courtyard.

✨ Holiday Evening Finale (Dec 18, 6-9PM):

Join us for Vizcaya’s Holiday Evening Program and see the completed mandala illuminated under evening lights.
Be part of the ritual closing ceremony, where the mandala is ceremoniously swept away — a powerful reminder of life’s impermanence.
Receive a keepsake bag of blessed sand and watch as the remainder is carried to Biscayne Bay in a symbolic gesture of spreading peace and goodwill. While supplies last.
