Vizcaya Late: Silver Screen

Every person, regardless of age or member status, is required to have a ticket and will not be admitted without one.
This edition of Vizcaya Late is dedicated to the estate’s Hollywood connections. From the time it served as a private home, Vizcaya has been featured in nearly 50 different movies, TV shows, and music videos. As you enjoy a relaxed evening at the estate, you can partake in activities to you’ll have the opportunity to dive deeper into this history.
- “The Money Pit” Wall Cast – Remember this comedy classic as you stroll the gardens and watch the film projected on Vizcaya’s Main House. The closing scene of the film includes a special appearance by Vizcaya itself.
- Spotlight Discussions – Want to learn more about the movies filmed at Vizcaya over the years? Join our staff for quick, 15-minute conversations. All conversations are free and outdoors. Conversations are limited to 15 participants and social distance is required. Meet on the East Terrace at 6:45p.m., 7:30 p.m. or 8:15 p.m.
- Tour the Swimming Pool Grotto | Add On Experience ($15 per person) – Explore the Swimming Pool Grotto and get insider information from one of our Learning Managers, including which iconic scene from a 1990s Jim Carey movie was filmed here. Tours take place at 6:15 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 7:45 p.m. Guided tours of the Swimming Pool Grotto are $15 per person with program admission. Tour tickets must be purchased online through Eventbrite.
