Live Music
Tina and the Trees is a musical project led by Cris, also known as Tina Bouza, who is passionate about agroecology as a way to feed people, reforest, and connect to ancestral lifeways. With Caribbean Latine roots, Cris was born and raised on the Tequesta lands of South Florida. After a ten-year career as a chef and restaurateur in Brooklyn, her work now focuses on cultivating community sovereignty and resilience and facilitating relationships back to the land.

Immerse yourself in the vibrant traditions and cultural heritage of the Polynesian Islands. Enjoy a lively island music DJ, musical guests, dance performances, and free Polynesian dance classes—including hula and the high-energy Tamure Marathon.

To promote inclusion for all, Vizcaya ensures that all community programs, after-hour and weekend events for locals, feature activities that are physically accessible to all visitors. While not all areas of the estate are wheelchair accessible, community programs are purposefully located in areas without stairs or that can be accessed via a ramp.
