Ecotopia: Picnic and Cookbook

FREE

Join us at the SawGrass Swap Shop in Vizcaya Village to share your favorite family recipes to be included in our Community Cookbook and sit down for a communal picnic!

We welcome all kinds of recipes! We will have picnic tables, picnic blankets, and great tunes playing for the dreamiest picnic set up. Locally grown and prepared food will be available for purchase at the Farmers Market.

During our Recipe Share event and Picnic, our Sawgrass Swap Shop will be open to all so make sure to bring items from home to swap or come to just “shop”. The Sawgrass Swap Shop is a community-centered free boutique consisting of gently used clothing, accessories, books, art supplies, small home goods, and plants during the workshop.

Before you leave, put on your new wares from the Swap Shop or pose with your meal and get your photo taken to be included in our Vizcaya Community Family Album.

Ecotopia + the ARtist

Introducing Ecotopia, an innovative fusion of art and environmentalism set to spark community interaction and inspiration. Spanning nine immersive events, Ecotopia invites you to explore the boundless world of creativity through workshops, open mics, a community cookbook, and swap shops.

The series culminates with the Town Square Festival, a vibrant celebration on August 6 that encapsulates our core message – art is for everyone, and together we can make a significant impact. Powered shared resources and shared fun, Ecotopia emphasizes the role of art and the environment in fortifying our communities.

Join us in shaping our collaborative Utopian Town Square and reflect on how to create a superior Miami, a superior world. Come, be part of Ecotopia, where every voice matters, every hand counts, and every heart can make a difference.
