Enjoy a workshop by Miami visual performer and artist, Irina Patterson. Using simple materials, Irina will guide you through the process of creating a unique self-portrait collage inspired by the lush surroundings of Vizcaya.
You’ll begin by selecting a sheet of 14 x 11 cardboard in pink, lime green or purple, before cutting out elements of the face, neck, and hair, as well as lush greenery for the background. Irina will provide colorful scrap paper and Sharpie markers to add details to your portrait. With her guidance, you’ll learn how to create a masterpiece that represents your mood of the moment.
All materials will be provided. No previous artistic experience is necessary.
