Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is holding a Father’s Day Barbecue on Sunday, June 21st from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in celebration of fathers, grandfathers and all those who impact and influence the lives of youth in our community.
After many months of isolation inside our homes, Vizcaya’s Father’s Day Barbecue provides families with a safe, low-density, space to come together to celebrate this special day at our National Historic Landmark on Biscayne Bay. Vizcaya’s 10 acres of formal gardens are open, as well as sections of the Main House.
Hosted by Joy Wallace Catering and Design, the barbecue’s ala carte menu is available for purchase from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sandwich options include cheeseburger, veggie burger, grilled chicken sandwich and pulled pork sandwich with choice of fries or chips. Sides and drinks offered include french fries, cole slaw, cookies, sodas, water and beer. Purchases can only be made using a credit card. Outdoor seating will be spread out to ensure social distancing. Admission ticket to Vizcaya is required to access the Father’s Day Barbecue on June 21. Food and drink at the barbecue is at additional fee from the ala carte menu.
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is open Thursdays through Monday, with admissions from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tickets must be purchased online at www.vizcaya.org.
