Public Guided Tours

Main House Tours

Vizcaya offers guided tours of the first floor of the Main House and gardens. Guided tours are interactive, discussion based, and last 45 minutes. Tickets are available for purchase onsite only. Daily tour times are: 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the Main House. In addition, we offer general tours of the Main House in Spanish on Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. All tours are subject to Volunteer Guide availability.
Cost: $5 per person

Discover Vizcaya Audio Tour

Vizcaya offers a 90-minute audio tour, available in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Haitian Creole. The audio tour allows you to choose your personal tour path and areas of interest related to both floors of the Main House as well as the gardens. Available for purchase onsite only.
Cost: $5 per person

Vizcaya Village Tour

This tour provides a general introduction and overview to the Vizcaya Village, including the history of the buildings as well as staff life 100 years ago. The tour will also introduce exciting plans for Vizcaya’s future to restore the Village as an educational resource for our community and to reunite the Village with the rest of the property. Village tours take place on the second Saturday of the month and start at noon. Tickets are $5.

Reserved Group Tours/Visits

Adult and College or University Groups may make advance reservations for a Group Tour of the first floor of the Main House and/or the gardens. These groups may opt to reserve a self-guided Group Visit of the Main House and/or gardens if they do not wish to have a Group Tour experience. Lunch Options

The Vizcaya Café and Shop is temporarily closed for repairs following Hurricane Irma, but continues to serve a limited menu of grab-and-go sandwiches and cold bottle beverages from the café tent in the café courtyard. To make arrangements for group meals for 10 or more guests, contact Paula Gooden at or call 305-856-8189.
