Biscayne Bay Cleanup Day – Baynanza 2018
T-Shirt Design Contest Winners

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens partnered up with Miami-Dade County’s Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources (RER) to promote Baynanza and to invite all middle school students to submit a design for the Baynanza 2018 t-shirt.

During Baynanza, a yearly tradition that celebrates our unique Biscayne Bay, 7,000 t-shirts are distributed for free to the participating volunteers. This year, 39 middle school students submitted entries. Baynanza is a celebration of Biscayne Bay and its significance as one of our most important ecological systems in South Florida. While Baynanza includes more than 25 great events throughout March and April, the event that has become nearly synonymous with this celebration is the Biscayne Bay Cleanup Day. All Miami-Dade county residents can participate in any of the many events leading up to the Cleanup and register to volunteer at one of the sites on Saturday, April 21st, 2018.
