Event: Vizcaya Greeter Guide Informational Reception

Description: Come learn all about the role of Volunteer Greeter Guides at Vizcaya during this FREE Orientation Reception. Interested and potential Guides are invited by the Learning Division to serve as Greeters. Greeters welcome guests to Vizcaya offering basic information concerning the museum and wayfinding for visitors. Greeters also assist ticket booth operations including, but not limited to, the distribution of audio tours and other learning materials or resources to visitors.

Description: Attention children and families! Join Vizcaya, and a team of scientists and experts, to find and catalogue the wildlife living at Vizcaya. Learn techniques for exploring, observing, collecting data, and uploading photographs using iNaturalist on your phone or tablet. This is not required to participate. FREE with museum admission. No pre-registration required.

Description: Join Vizcaya staff and #BayDrift partners at Vizcaya for an art program that helps keep Biscayne Bay a little cleaner. We'll be painting and decorating drift cards, which will be used by local scientists to track the path of trash in the bay. All materials are provided. This activity is free with museum admission.
